Are INFJs and INFPs Too “Woo”?

INFJ personality types and INFP personality types frequently are labeled as too “woo-woo,” by non-intuitive types. Because of this, many of us feel like we are too weird to fit in, or like our ideas are too radical for the mainstream. INFJs and INFPs are frequently interested in subjects like astrology, the tarot, energy work, healing with crystals, and other fringe ideas. To us, these subjects are intriguing and can help us understand the world in a deeper way, but they may be threatening to friends and family members.

In fact, many INFJs and INFPs have friends and family members who make us feel badly about our interest in these “woo-woo” topics. We may be mocked, or our friends and family may make us feel as if we are gullible, stupid, or not thinking in a logical way, and so we end up hiding these interests, even though we are drawn to them over and over again.

When we give ourselves permission to pursue our interests on the woo side of life, we usually notice that these woo interests can help us heal ourselves, and also understand reality, events, and other people in a much more holistic way. INFJs and INFPs tend to be naturally more woo in our thinking, and this is because we thrive when we are able to work with open possibilities and creative theories of life on a regular basis. However, it can be hard to embrace this part of our ourselves if most of our friends and family operate more on the logical side of life.

Since anything “woo” is usually outside of any official institution or organization, it’s also a known disruptor to organized religion and mainstream spirituality. This resonates with many INF people, because we are also natural disruptors of the status quo.

I talk more about this in the video below:

I’m teaching a new class starting September 25 called Life on the Woo Side, and we’ll be exploring various “woo” topics and how they tie into our life path and purpose.

We’ll be diving into subjects like:

Difficult gifts and trauma

Intuition in the creative process

How to connect with our invisible allies

….and what it means to be a lightworker on planet earth at this time.

Make sure you SUBSCRIBE to my newsletter HERE to get all the updates on when the registration window closes on September 24, and please also SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube channel here to get more videos on creativity, intuition, and life as an intuitive personality type. If you have any questions about the class, you can send them to me here.

I’d love to see you in this class!
